FIR lodged against Lal Baba for his derogatory and provocative speech at Hindi Virat Sammelan in Almora in the presence of Ajay Tamta, minister
The Almora Police has on the written complaint of one Mr. Sanwal has registered an FIR against the highly provocative anti minority speech of Mahamandaleshwsr Lal Baba in a Virat Hindu Sammelan rally held at Almora convened by the Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh.
There were saffron clad women, men and youths in large number in this rally with the responsible Union state minister of Road Transport and National Highways Ajay Tamta also present on the dias.
These days not only in Uttarakhand but at the pan India level in all the states of the country the Rashtriya Swayam Sewak , the main think tank and brain of the saffron party is organising Hindu Cunventions at the decentralised level to polarise people on majoritsrianism on the occasion of the completion of its 100 years.
In one of such rallies held at Almora in the presence of the union state minister of Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta, one Lal Baba Mahamandaleshwar who was one of the the special guests at the Virat Hindu Sammelan had given a highly provocative speech allegedly targeting the minority community. Mr. Sanwal who was present in the rally reported the matter to the police and an FIR has been lodged at the Almora Police station against Lal Baba.
A senior police officer said that the speech of the Lal Baba is being analysed and necessary action will be taken against him if found guilty.
He also appealed to the people not to misguide people, spread rumours etc in this matter and maintain peace in the society.
If anyone found to suresd the baseless rumours will be adequately punished under the relevant sections of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita said the senior police officer.
