SUNIL Negi felicitated with prestigious Garg Gaurav Chandra Singh Garhwali Samman for outstanding journalism

Senior journalist , editor, UKnationews, president of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum , earlier Director of Press Club of India Sunil Negi was felicitated with prestigious Garh Gaurav Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Samman for outstanding journalism in an event organised by the largest representative social organisation of inhabitants of Garhwal,Uttarakhand in Delhi established in Quetta, undivided Pakistan around 103 years ago with its headquarter now in Delhi’ Panchquin Road namely GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA. The function held on 28 th December at Garhwal Bhawan also felicitated outstanding personalities from journalism, writing, poetry, culture , academics, acting , film making, social contribution and varied fields of life. Sr. Journalist SUNIL NEGI who is active in journalism for more than four decades having wrote several books including two editions of Uttaranchals’ Who’s Who comprising of 800 pages and Havoc in Heaven ( translation in English) including writing thousands of news stories and articles in Print and digital media is being honoured with the prestigious Garh Gaurav Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Award for writing in English and Hindi impartially highlighting the significant issues of Uttarakhand and of national, international concern with immense dexterity and judiciously. The function was held at Garhwal Bhawan, New Delhi on 28 th December from 3.00 PM onwards in the presence of distinguished personalities from socio political fields and varied significant arenas. Mr. Negi was felicitated with Garh Gaurav Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Samman for journalism at Garhwal Bhawan by SDM Mr. Bijalwan, former Additional secretary Lok Sabha Devendra Aswal , advocate Supreme Court and prominent entrepreneur T. S. Bhandari.
