Widow in tears Kiran Badola living in a thatched house with no doors, no electricity and source of income with her 3 school going children at Ladpur, Dehradun. Will anyone take note of her plight

A poor, hapless and shattered widow living in a temporary shed along with with her three school going children namely Kiran Badola for the last six years at Ladpur Dehradun with no electricity, water and adequate shelter had not been helped by the administration either financially or providing him a pucca shelter despite the ongoing monsoons, when her family has to live under extreme pathetic condition for days together.

The local councillor do visit her house at times but no help is being rendered says the distressed woman in tears. The local MLA too has not provided her any support whatsoever, says the distressed woman, except a negligible few.

A compassionate reporter of Devbhoomi channel Paridhi Joshi visited her to take stock of her pitiable distressed life and unaccounted plights who was widowed with no source of income except her meagre earning by way of working as domestic help.

Lauding few good persons like Pushpa Dobhal and Mr. Semwal and a selected few of rendering her financial n other help Kiran Dobhal in tears with her voice chocked narrates her sorry state of affairs with the household articles scattered in a thatched tin roof with no cemented floor n walls , lacking electricity and other basic facilities for the last six years at Ladpur Dehradun under the acute risk of insects, poisonous snakes and reptiles.

Originally hailing from Pauri Garhwal, with no relative to support, extremely shattered widow Kiran Dobhal while in tears say that her husband was a guard and used to cook food and arrange for the sustenance of their family under acute scarcity n challenging circumstances but after his sad demise her only support system was broken and the entire responsibility of three school children fell on her weak shoulders.

Since then she had been working at domestic help in few families and arranging sustenance for her family out of the meagre amount she could manage, after immense difficulties.

If one visits her thatched house with no doors, ni covered walls and no electricity including muddy floor with a single tin temporary roof, not even feasible for animals to live in, especially during monsoons, summers and winters, one wonders how the four member family would be surviving at all, with no source of income.

Thanks to Pushpa Dobhal and Mr Semwal and few others who help her survive despite so much of socio economic insecurity with no government officer or elected public representative coming to her rescue despite tall claims of empowering women community and widows of the state.

This is just a one case that has been highlighted by a compassionate reported of Dev Bhoomi live TV reaching to this genuinely wrecked family and a shattered widow highlighting her plight but there might be many other such cases in the capital city of Uttarakhand where talks of several over ambitious projects see the light of the day but widows like Kiran Badola are hardly taken note of.

This is really a slap on the system that guarantees fundamental right to live and survive but hundreds of haokess women n widows like Kiran Badola lead shattered lives with no body taking out time to come to their rescue, whether they are the government agencies, NGOs, uktra rich or the duly elected public representatives who promise while seeking votes of tins of pledges to help them but disappear after becoming victorious.

The woman requests to provide her governmental support for a small pucca house so that she can live in peace with her three school children rest of her remaining life.
