Illegal Madrasa/ Mosque and other structures demolished in Dehradun

In Uttarakhand the Dhami buldozer are rampantly destroying the unauthorised structures, especially those built on the government land. In Dehradun a Madarsa / Mosque build on the government land including other structures were also the target of the demolition squads.
FAs a sequel to the ongoing demolitions the Dhami government’s bulldozer has roared against illegal encroachments on government land along the Shakti Nagar border in the western Doon region.
111 families were illegally occupying approximately 11 hectares of Energy Department land said the authorities. According to news reports despite Sunday the Power department and the local administration demolished about eighty illegally built structures including a mosque on Sunday exhibiting no leniency.
During the demolition campaign a Madarsa been targetted and demolished as the committee had given them notice to clear the illegal part themselves but instead after the lapse of two year the tall Minas came up giving it a shape of the mosque. The administration didn’t obliged them and demolished the illegal structure. There was a huge police bandobast during the demolition operation which was instructed by some people but the police intervened and stopped them.
It may be recalled that about two years ago the administration has demolished several illegal structures ( house) etc on both sides from Dak Pathar to Dakrani on the side of the Nahar ( Canal) and thereafter the investors in Uttarakhand installed the solar plants here.
