Uttarakhand and fatal accidents are correlated. Not a day is passed when there are no accidents of fatal nature killing the occupants of the vehicles with no chance of safety. Those who are injured are always with grievous injuries and later in succumbing to them. The rate of fatal accidents are so rapid that the state government fail to provide the definite statistics either due to their large numbers or deliberately not to part with them. Yet another fatal accident occured today in Almora’s Jainti area near Jawaharnedi where two occupants if the car died on the spot after the car fell down in the deep gorge after it couldn’t be controlled by the driver. The accident was so tragic that the car was badly damaged given the unambiguous impression that it has been hammered badly or crushed by a machine. Uttarakhand has become a synonym of fatal accidents which take place on every season due to varied reasons, negligence of the drivers, intoxication, overloading, driving in speedy, slippery and roads with pot holes, during monsoons and s sisters and blind turns etc.
