After two deaths in Nainidaanda block accident , another bus overturned near Sunkundi village after it was heading for Dehradun from Uttarkashi, Mori Block
Fatal accidents are not receding in Uttarakhand and in almost every accident incident the vehicles / buses are felling down in deep gorges with maximum deaths and grievous injuries to the victims.
What is most unfortunate to note is that there are no remedial actions on the part of the government agencies giving the unambiguous impression that oy God is to be believed in for safety and security of those travelling in Uttarakhand riads, but that too is not in sight.
Just today and accident had occured in Nainidanda block when a vehicle with three passengers fell down in a gorge killing two on the spot and the driver grievously injured.
However, another accident has been reported when a bus heading for Dehradun from Mori Block, Jakhaul in Uttarkashi met with a severe accident near Sunkundi village.
The bus is believed to be occupied by thirty passengers out of whom seven have been injured while rest of them are safe.
According to the latest news – the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus number UK7PA 4177 plying towards Dehradun from Mori Block, Jakhol Uttarakashi has met with an accident after it had covered the distance of just two kilometres near Sunkundi village.
The bus overturned on the outer side of the road fortunately not falling down in the gorge.
Seven people were injured and rest of them are safe said the latest report. The injured have been ferried to the community health centre. The injured were retrieved safely from the overturned bus by the SDRP and police personnel and taken to the health centres via 108 Ambulances. The DM Meharbaan Singh Bisht has directed the health authorities to render best possible treatment to the injured.
