AAP government’s Hyderpur hospital project lying unattended since the last eight months. Alleged Misuse of tax payers money !
Delhi elections are due in February and the official dates are yet to be announced. However, the AAP government that is always at loggerheads with the central government and BJP and Vice versa is under question about a government hospital built four years ago but its construction and furnishing work stopped in between thus throwing to winds crores of Rupees of tax payers money.
The half constructed – this high profile government hospitals construction work has been stopped since the last eight months after being partially constructed four years ago.
The delay in the construction work of this hospital which has almost stopped since the last eight months will finally lead to the cost of the government hospital construction enhancing multiply further adding more weight of public exchequer ( tax papers money).
The point is who is to be held accountable for this huge lapse.
The construction of this half built hospital and now its entire work stopped since the last eight months with important and costly material and items lying here and there worth lakhs of rupees unattended and is giving an impression as if the Delhi government and its health authorities even after spending so much of tax payers money on this partially built hospital are not at all bothered.
This Delhi government hospital’s construction work that had started four years ago , was being built in Hyderpur, near Pitampura in outer Delhi close to Sector 18 Rohini, Delhi with the sole aim to accord treatment to the residents of this area as the Dr.Ambedkar Hospital now in Rohini West was quite far , several kilometres away.
The residents of Pitampura, Hyderpur, Adarsh Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, even Rohini living in Sector 15 to 18 including Badli village were extremely happy that now this AAP government hospital will cater to their medical needs shortly but after immense delay of this hospital project due the the Delhi government’s negligence and apathy , this hospital’s construction has been stopped for the last eight months.
The area Councillor Amit Nagpal is extremely annoyed accusing the AAP government for misusing the tax payers crores of Rupees and stopping the construction work of this government hospital thus throwing to winds the aspirations of the local electorates who have to go to Dr.Ambedkar Hospital several kilometres away for treatment.
He said this lethargy, and apathy of the Delhi government and its health department unambiguously reflects that the AAP leaders believe in just befooling the Delhites and never coming true to their expectations.
He said the way the crores of Rupees of our tax payers money is being wasted in this project with corruption going unabated and in future the cost likely to multiply , who will be accountable for this inefficiency and escalation in the cost of this project that has been deliberately delayed asked the local councillor.
