Uttarakhand Foundation Day celebrated with pomp and show at Loni Road by Uttarakhand Sanskritik Bhrathra Samittee
Uttarakhand State Foundation Day is celebrated every year by Uttaranchal Cultural Brotherhood Committee. This year also this day was celebrated with great pomp on 17th November.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Committee, Jayendra Negi, informed that the area MLA Nadankishore Gurjar and Delhi Police Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Padmendra Rawat of Rigwad village of Pauri Garhwal attended the program as chief guests.
The event was held at late CDS Jan Bipin Rawat Park, E-Block, Shiv Mandir, Rampark Extension, Loni, Ghaziabad, UP, in which various events were organized to promote the culture and traditions of Uttarakhand.
In the programme, school children of the area showcased their talent in Uttarakhandi dance, which mesmerized the audience.
Apart from this, former councilor Meena Bhandari, regional assembly member Kulveer Chauhan, Archya Jayendra Bhatt, Dev Phonia, Surendra Halsi (Founder Dhuri Foundation), Jagmohan Bisht BJP leader Buradi, Jagat Singh Bisht, journalist Charu Tiwari, Rudamani Giri (President Beti Bachao Beti Bachao), many dignitaries including writer-poet Dwarika Prasad Chamoli and former district panchayat candidate Anil were present.
The committee expressed its commitment to promote the culture and tradition of Uttarakhand on this occasion.
Committee President Jayendra Negi said that the program was organized to promote the unity and culture of Uttarakhand.
We hope that this program will be successful in uniting the people of Uttarakhand said Negi.
The program concluded with songs and dances of Uttarakhand culture, which gave the audience a glimpse of Uttarakhand culture.
Chief guest on the ocassion Padmendra Rawat also made the audience dance by singing Uttarakhandi songs, which made the audience aware of Uttarakhand culture.
Apart from this, stalls of Pahadi Gharat, Pahadi Dal and vegetables were set up by Sanjay Chauhan. Folk singers Neeraj Panwar, Kishore Kushkal, folk singer Asha Negi, folk singer Shagun Uniyal enthralled the audience with their voices. The stage was managed by Neeraj Bawadi.
