A HARDENED CRIMINAL OF WESTERN UP INVOLVED IN A ROBBERY CARRYING AN AWARD OF TEN THOUSAND ON HIS HEAD ARRESTED BY DEHRADUN POLICE
In Uttarakhand now history sheeters and infamous criminals from other states especially UP are coming frequently and making it their safe haven committing criminal activities like snatching, looting women and men at gun point and committing dacoities even entering villages and townships apart from their frequent operations of illegal activities in bigger townships like Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar or tourist spots like Nainital etc.
There have been several cases of drugs and illicit liquor being smuggled in the interior villages and townships even in Haridwar and Rishikesh where being holy townships it’s literally banned.
The drugs being smuggled here have literally spoiled the health and career of the young generation with which also starts thefts, criminal activities and robberies etc.
As a sequel to these ongoing criminal activities in various parts of Uttarakhand and subsequent police action, the Dehradun police has arrested a hardened criminal on whose head was a reward of Rs 10000.
He had come from Uttar Pradesh and committed a decoity in Khushalpur, Sahaspur area of Dehradun with several criminal cases lodged against him in Uttar Pradesh.
The police has recovered the jewelry n cash from his possession.
According to a latest news, the culprit has committed a decoity in a house of Khushalpur, Sahaspur alongwith his accomplices.
The Doon police had arrested four robbers in this case earlier and sent them to jail.
The latest one was caught now who was carrying the reward of Rs. 10000 on his head and jailed was from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The award of Rs ten thousand was fixed on the culprit by the Dehradun SSP after he went absconding after committing the robbery.
The caught robber is extremely Shatir against whom there are over half a dozen of cases of loot, decoity and robbery etc.
On 6 th June a complaint was lodged by one Furkan a resident of Khushalpur , Sahaspur, Dehradun that a dacoity has been committed by five robbers at gun point taking away jewellery and Rs 70 thousand with Scotty etc .
The area SSP has set up eight teams after the robbery to investigate the case and arrested the robbers sending the teams to Ponta Sahib, Saharanpur and Mujaffarnagar etc. after extensive search and in-depth investigation in an encounter in the jungles of Timli with the decoits , the police were able to catch two robbers namely Bablu Badshah and Ramjaani, while the other two were arrested with the jewellry n money etc taken away during the robbery at gun point later on.
After the arrest of four robbers the main and fifth one on whose head the DD police has fixed a reward of ten thousand was arrested now namely Nasim Aka Cheenta hailing from village Gandedwa , district Saharanpur. The police have registered several cases against serious sections of Nyay Sanhita under Arms act, robbery, attempt to murder etc. and put in jail.
