Final Adieu given to braveheart Hazari Singh of who’s martyred in Assam
Indian Army braveheart Hazaari Singh hailing from Devprayag, Pauri Garhwal who laid down his precious life for the nation in Assam a day ago was today given final adieu at Dev Prayag n then at Ganga bank Poornanand Ghat by the India Army giving cannon salutes with his body respectfully draped in tricolour brought first to his village and then to the cremation ground consigning to flames amid chanting of slogans hailing Braveheart Hazari Singh with tears in the eyes of all. On behalf of the Uttarakhand government the cabinet minister Prem Chandra Aggrawal accorded salutes to this braveheart. The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami while expressing his deepest condolences of the sad demise of India army braveheart wrote in X : The news of martyrdom of Hazari Singh ji, resident of Devprayag, Tehri Garhwal, while protecting Mother India in Assam is extremely sad. I pray to God to give the holy soul a place in his feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense sorrow. Humble tribute !
It may be recalled that Braveheart Hazari Singh was martyred facing the bullet of the Manipur insurgents.
