Main accused in Ankita Bhandari case shifted to Almora Jail after he was involved in a physical scuffle with the jailor of Pursadi Jail, Chamoli
The main accused in the most infamous case for allegedly brutally murdering a nineteen year old innocent girl Ankita Bhandari in Vanantara resort in Yamkeshwar block and then throwing her body in Chilla canal in Rishikesh after brutally killing her, badly frustrated Pulkit Arya had on 20 July physically scuffled with the jailor of Pursadi Jail situated in Chamoli as a result of which he has been shifted to Almora Jail. According to the revelation made by ” Jago Uttarakhand”, the main accused in Ankita Bhandari case Pulkit Arya physically scuffled with the Jailor Trilok Chandra Arya in Pursadi Jail, Chamoli when he was being physically cross checked. The jailor Trilok Chandra Arya has got the FIR registered against Pulkit Arya in Chamoli Kotwali. The main accused in the Ankita Bhandari case was earlier like dyed in Khandiusena jail from where he was shifted to Chamoli Pursadi Jail. It was from her he was taken to Kotdwar court to attend the legal court proceedings. In the month of July he was brought back to Pursadi Jail after attending the proceedings at Kotdwar court. While he was being checked physically Pulkit Arya physically tried to attack the jailor who thereafter lodged an FIR in Chamoli Kotwali. According to the jailor Trilok Chandra Arya no inmate in the jail is legally allowed to carry any article inside the jail but Pulkit Arya violated the jail norms and was trying to carrying along his belonging to which he refused and tried to physically examine him but he literally tried to physically attack him through scuffle. This incident occured on 20 th July and the matter wasn’t caught the attention of the media then. It may be recalled that recently a petition filed by Pulkit Arya in Supreme Court requesting to shift his case in some other state has also been dismissed by the bench headed by the chief justice who said that this is a very serious case and need to be thoroughly and expeditiously investigated.
