Sarabjot Singh felicitated with a cash awards of Rs 22.5 lakhs by union sports minister Dr. Mandaviya

The winner of the two back to back Bronze medals in Paris Olympics and also making a historical record for winning back to back two bronze in the single edition of Paris Olympics Manu Baker has heartily thanked her personal coach and international shooter having brought Gold medals for India in Common Wealth and Asian Games known as pistol king Jaspal Rana and the sports ministry including the Sports Authority of India, OGO and all colleagues writing in social media handle X :

I am extremely overwhelmed by the support and wishes that have been coming in. Winning 2 bronze medals is a dream come true. This achievement is not just mine but belongs to everyone who has believed in me and supported me along the way. I couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of my family, Coach Jaspal Rana sir and everyone who stood by me, including the NRAI, TOPS , SAI, OGQ, Performax & especially Haryana government. With all my well-wishers. Competing and performing at the biggest stage for my country is a moment of immense pride and joy. Meanwhile the many of Shooters have been back to India and the union sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya welcomed them whole heartedly yesterday who include Bronze medal winner Sarabjot Singh and others.

The shooter Sarabjot who’ve won and others who couldn’t make it were also heartily welcomed by presenting them the bouquets n garlands amid the beating of drums.

The union sports minister and the minister of state for youth affairs Mansukh Mandaviya and Raksha Khadse felicitated the six shooters after their jubilant return back to Delhi raising the Indian tricolor high among the world countries in Paris Olympics.

According to the sports ministry the outstanding performance by Sarabjot Singh who won the Bronze was the highlight of the day.

Presenting the cash awards to the shooters as per the policy of the government ‘s cash awards scheme Sarabjot Singh was awarded Rs 22.5 lakhs by union sports minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.

The minister also recognised the contributions of other shooters Arjun Babuta, Ramita Jindal, Rhythm Sangwan, Sandeep Singh, and Arjun Singh Cheema as well as their coaches Shrur, Shamaresh Jung, and Sarabjot’s personal coach Abhishekh Rana.

The union minister of sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated every player and said that he knows how difficult and tiresome it is to bag the medal but for him each of them are the real champions. I know it was too hard for some of you to come in terms with the fact that you missed the medal by a whisker , but don’t let that loss lessen your passion for the game instead let it fuel your motivation to excel in the future competitions said the minister.
