Lansdowne.
The 13th two-day annual conference of Lansdowne Old Students Association concluded with prize distribution. On this occasion, cultural programs presented by women artists of Losa and students of various schools enthralled the audience.
The program organized at Gandhi Chowk was inaugurated by chief guest Brigadier Vijay Mohan Choudhary, special guest famous industrialist Suresh Chandra Pandey, special guest Trupti Choudhary and social worker Ranjana Rawat, President of Army Wives Welfare Association Trupti Choudhary jointly lighting the lamp.
On this occasion, the mesmerizing presentations of Uttarakhandi folk dances presented by the students of GGIC, GIC Jaiharikhal, Government Inter College Sauli, Government Inter College Sari, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Army School, St. John’s Convent School enthralled the audience.
In the 13th annual conference of Losa, Ramlila Committee Director Prem Bahadur Thapa was given the honor of Citizen of the Year for his remarkable services during the staging of Ramlila. He was honored by the chief guest Brigadier Vijay Mohan Choudhary by presenting him a certificate and draping him with a shawl. And meritorious students were awarded scholarships given by LOSA.
Prizes were given to promising students from local and rural areas at the hands of special guest Ranjana Rawat.
Former teachers were honored by industrialist Suresh Chandra Pandey.
The program was conducted by Meena Adhikari. On this occasion, LOSA President Dr. SP Naithani, Secretary Ajay Aggarwal, Treasurer Rajeev Barthwal, Dr. Sampooran Singh Rawat, Satish Kaleshwari, etc. were present. Under the two-day conference of Losa, discussions were held regarding the development of the citizens and city of Lansdowne.
On this occasion, expatriates arrived from many places of the country Sunil Negi Journalist Delhi, Pramod Verma Pune, Sunil Singh Agra, Bhagwat Negi, Nainital Virendra Rana, Arun Negi, Dr. Satish Kaleshwari Manju Bahuguna, Mahesh Verma, Lancey Khandelwal, Journalist Sunil Negi all Delhi. Prominent people like Pramod Verma, Rajni Verma Pune, Rakesh Sharma and Prof. Meharban Gunsai, Sushil Bauthiyal all Dehradun, Mohan Davis Ghaziabad, Sunil Singh Agra etc. were present.
