FIVE TIME PRESIDENT’S MEDAL WINNER FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE ACP NEGI DONATE AMBULANCE TO KOLAGARH VILLAGERS IN GARHWAL

A grand event was held in Pauri Garhwal today in which the District Magistrate IAS Mr. Ashish Chouhan was the chief guest and the five oftimes’ prestigious President’s Gold Medal recipient for bravery, precision and outstanding services countering the various dreaded gangsters and resolving complex criminal cases including cases related to terrorism, Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Police Lalit Mohan Singh Negi Special guest of honour.

The ACP special Cell, Delhi Police Lalit Mohan Singh Negi who is running a social organisation in the name of his late father Chandra Singh Negi titled Shri Chandra Singh Negi Memorial Trust with the help of IRCTC today donated a fully equipped ambulance to the local hospital for ferrying the rural area patients of distant villages to hospitals to render them adequate medical treatment in time, when they are ill.

ACP Lalit Mohan Negi, special guest on the ocassion has also been contributing from his hard earn income to local schools to bring stationary items, books, furniture for schools and also delivering scholarships to poor, outstanding students to help them pursue their education further becoming better citizens of the country.

The function was attended by the villagers of Kolagarh Patti near Sanglakoti and surrounding areas with the DM Ashish Chouhan, IAS lauding Mr.Negi’s contribution for the welfare and wellbeing of the villagers. The folk singers also performer in colourful attire to the Garhwali mesmerising songs and music. The legendary singer of Uttarakhand Narendra Singh Negi also performed on this for ocassion making the local populace extremely jubilant.

Welcoming the past guests and dignitaries, Shri Lalit Mohan Negi, a social worker and associated with various development projects of the Trust, told that Shri Chandra Singh Negi Memorial Trust is a special social service organization and is involved in public welfare and development work in the hilly areas like education. It has been working with continuous commitment for the last 6 years in the field of health, promotion and dissemination of modern technology etc.

It has been adopted by the Trust to improve the educational and technological level of students of more than 15 secondary schools in the hilly region. While modern classes have been arranged in these schools, on the other hand resources for computer and internet services have been made available. “Health Checkup Kiosks” have also been established in this hilly area by the Trust with the help of various social organizations where there is free online arrangement for medicine and pathology tests.
