Rahul Gandhi while addressing the crowd at Varanasi says there’s hatred in the country. We should spread affection !
The Bharat Nyay Yatra commenced on 14 th February, 2024 from Thaubal, Manipur led by former Congress president Rahul Gandhi along with other senior Congress leaders has entered Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of prime minister Narendra Modi. The Yatra will converge at Mumbai on 20 th March 2024 after covering over hundred parliamentary constituencies in various states impacting the electorates positively or negatively, that depends on the people’s mood.
The 4700 kilometre Nyay Padyatra is enticing enthusiastic crowds welcoming Rahul Gandhi on the way with all his road shows and public meetings being tumultuous and massively attended.
Addressing a rally at Varanasi former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has categorically said that there is an environment of hatred in the country adding that this is not the nation of hatred.
He said referring to his earlier Kanyakumari to Kashmir Yatra : I went from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on foot and met, interacted and embraced with thousands of people from cross section of the society having noticed that there is an environment of hatred and fear among countrymen said Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi addressed people on the way while undertaking his Nyay Yatra further adding that he had walked on foot from Kanyakumari to Kashmir a year ago in foot.
I met thousands of people on the way I interacted with them. The unemployed youths, farmers, small entrepreneurs , women and people from the lower strata of the society met and interacted with me on the way in this Bharat Jodo Yatra.
During interaction when small entrepreneurs spoke to him, they were badly apprehensive about their economic future. I haven’t seen any hatred in this Yatra.
Even the RSS people joined him and all wanted the country to move forward unitedly saying that the nation will progress only when we all move ahead in unison said the Congress leader.
Rahul Gandhi was extremely categorical in saying that it’s not hatred but unity with Amity, love and brotherhood that we can progress and take the nation forward taking the name of a boy in the meeting.
He unambiguously said that if we will hate with each other and spread hatred the nation will become absolutely weak and shattered. This country is symbolic of affection and Mohabbat not of hatred ” Nafrat” saying further that keeping everyone together and in peace is the biggest nationalism.
He said he hadn’t come here with proud but after bowing to Mother Ganges. Even in Bharat Jodo and Nyay Yatra I walked while bowing down to people. I have already told my people that during my Yatra everyone will come to meet me, rich or poor. I will meet everyone, they should feel that I have come to their homes and part affection not hatred said former Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
