Tirath leaves Delhi after meeting PM, HM, Defence, NH ministers n party chief , the outgoing CM TSR meets HM, Nadda n RSS leader Ram lal

There seems to be a competition of strengthening the PR with the senior BJP leaders in Delhi in a quest to keep them happy n in good humour and get important assignments after losing old ones between the present chief minister of Uttarakhand Tirath Singh Rawat and the outgoing CM Trivendra Singh Rawat. While Tirath Singh Rawat reached Dehradun on Wednesday after meeting the prime minister Narendra Modi, union home minister Amit Shah, BJP national chief J.P. Nadda, union minister for Road transport and National Highways Nitin Gadkari, union defence minister Rajnath Singh n Health minister Dr Harshvardhan, the former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat met defence minister met Rajnath Singh, RSS leader RamLal, party chief JP Nadda etc. He is expected to meet union home minister Amit Shah n other party functionaries during his few days visit in Delhi. It is believed that the former chief minister Trivendra Rawat will be adjusted in the central party organisation with an important position.

Meanwhile, the Delhi meeting of the Uttarakhand chief minister is being rated as quite significant accompanying good results as the prime minister Narendra Modi gave him time of thirty minutes yesterday in which Rawat requested him to fulfil his proposal for construction of AIIMS in Kumaon region in addition to his request to invite PM Modi for the inauguration of a Badrikedar development project. He also requested the PM for supply of additional quota of Covid 19 vaccines to Uttarakhand in view of shortage of vaccines which could not be dispatched to the remote villages situated in far flung areas of geographically difficult Uttarakhand.

Chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat also extended his gratitude to the Prime minister for successfully carrying out the over ambitious all weather road projects and Rishikesh Karna Prayag Rail line in Uttarakhand. The prime minister gave him a patient hearing n assured of his full support say reliable sources. Meanwhile the union highway minister Nitin Gadkari after meeting the Uttarakhand CM announced about the construction of 2.74 kilometres two lane long tunnel in Mussourie to ease the traffic congestion worth Rs 700 crores on the request of Uttarakhand CM. While meeting the union defence minister Rajnath Singh the chief minister extended his thanks for setting up a Covid care hospital in Haldwani which is 269 klmts away from Dehradun with assurance of financial support in future as well. The former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat’s meeting with party chief JP Nadda, RSS leader Ram Lal and defence minister Rajnath Singh are considered to be quite significant with the optimism that he may be given some national responsibilty in the party organisation.

Sounds interesting that while the chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat leaves the national capital after three days of important Delhi tour meeting prime minister, home minister, defence minister n national highways minister, the outgoing CM replaced by the present, unceremoniously, visits the capital meeting the central high command n union ministers without any administrative responsibilities, obviously for his accommodation in the party organisation at the national level.

The Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat also met the union health minister Harshvardhan, Memory union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, water resources minister Sekhavat, n the chief of the Defence services n former army chief Vipin Rawat and discussed important matters pertaining to Uttarakhand.

  1. It is quite common to see parties feigning interest in public issues and announcing projects for the supposed welfare of the people as it is advantageous for them in the elections.
