The Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khatter has revealed that in the unfortunate Nuhu riots in Haryana in which nearly eighty cars and vehicles were burnt yesterday, till now six deaths have been confirmed out of which two were home guard personnel and about 116 people have been arrested by the police under various sections of IPC.

While assuring the people of Haryana that the situation is now fully under control Haryana CM Khattar said that his government will deal with the culprits stringently and those arrested would be send to police remand to ascertain more facts about these riots to reach to the mastermind behind these violent disturbances.

He said that twenty companies of Central forces are involved in Haryana in different districts to bring the situation under control. Haryana CM Khattar assured that no laxity would be exercised in dealing with the critical situation and bringing the culprits to justice.

According to available reports Monu Manesar, an absconded Bajrang Dal leader who is wanted for a murder, considered to be the leader of cow rakshaks in Haryana is allegedly primarily responsible for these violent eruptions as his video asking people to join in the religious march at Nileshwar temple in large numbers and also informing people about his presence there though he didn’t turned up.

According to eye witness near the Neeleshwar temple while the police reached the venue too late where the riots took place and several cars n two wheelers burnt by rioters, there were cross firing from both sides with some culprits firing towards the Neeleshwar temple from a distant mountain area in Haryana.

Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Lok Jal president Jayant Choudhary said in a statement that since the general elections are round the corner efforts are being made to put the country into fire.

He said that there was no point to give permission for the SHOBHAYATRA AND MAHA PANCHAYAT demanding stringent action against the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the Haryana police has declared a financial assistance of Rs 57 lakh to the families of each of the deceased of Home guards.

Meanwhile, the Haryan CM Manohar Lal Khattar held a high level meeting with the home minister Anil Vij and senior police officials and said that some outside elements must be active behind these riots.

He assured the the culprits are being identified and would not be spared at any costs. Meanwhile the CHP and Bajrang Dall have allegedly given call to some states to organise protest demonstration in their respective states.
