We’ll restart our agitation if the fr. WFI chief is not arrested till the date of deadline !

Finding themselves not getting due justice in the near future despite the assurance given by the Union Information and Broadcasting and sports minister Anurag Thakur and earlier with the Union home minister the protesting wrestlers had to go to Haryana to revive their protest and bring as much as farmers organisations and Khap Panchayats into their fold to accord them support and strength in their future protests as speculated by them either at Jantar Mantar or Ram Lila Maidan. However, the farmers organisations are in support of them already with prominent Kisan Leader Naresh Tikaith having gone to Haridwar to stop them throw their medals in the Ganges with the wrestlers handing the medals to him for five days, the time frame, which had already ended. According to sources the way the father of an adolescent wrestler has taken back the the serious allegations of sexual harrasment levelled against the WFI chief and MP from Kaiserganj, Uttar Pradesh – Brijbhushan Sharan Singh admitting his own fault to have wrongly accused him under the fear of anger it seems to be absolutely clear that the protesting wrestlers have to some extent lost their battle, though all the four international Indian wrestlers, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, Satyavrat Kadian, Jitendra Singh etc still seem to be in high spirits and have reiterated their resolve to re continue their agitation from 16 th June, incase the government does not arrest the former WFI chief and frame charge sheet with stringent sections of IPC against him. It may be recalled that on the basis of the FIR of the adolescent wrestler, POSCO charges were lodged in the FIR, considered to be a severe section under which their is no bail. In addition to her, the 6 other adult wrestlers had filed their complaints with charges of alleged sexual harrasment against the WFI chief. However, sources reveal that after the withdrawal of the charges by the father of the girl wrestler below 18 years of age, the POSCO charge will also be neutralised automatically etc. There are news reports that if the Gold, Bronze and silver medals winners in Olympics, Asian and Commonwealth Games protesting for more that thirty five days and for several days four months ago and even after being bruised by police at Jantar Mantar and arrested as we are not given due justice as assured by two Union ministers , they will restart their agitation at either Jantar Mantar or Ram Lila Maidan from 16 th June onwards with the support and full involvement of farmers organisations including the Khap Panchayats of UP and Haryana including BKU. This announcement was made yesterday by Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik and other wrestlers in the Khap Panchayats attended by more than three hundred farmer leaders n activists in Haryana reveal news reports.
