SARV SAMAJ AND VARIOUS, SOCIAL ORGANISATIONS WRITE TO DELHI CM TO GIVE GOVERNMENT JOB TO THE BROTHER OF DECEASED NIRBHAYA OF NAJAFGARH

Several social organisations of all communities in Delhi under the banner of SARV SAMAJ has, written letters on their organisations letter heads to the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival to give government employment to the brother of late Nirbhaya of Najafgarh, late Kiran Negi, a 19 year innocent girl the only earning member of her family living in Qutub Vihar Najafgarh, brutally killed after obnoxious gang rape on 7 February in 2012 , six months before the dreaded case of Damini of Vasant Vihar in a running private bus. Nirbhaya of Najafgarh was abducted near Qutub Vihar, Najafgarh on the evening in the month of February 2012 by three human beasts ( criminals of that area) in a red Indica car and taken to the fields of Rodhai village in Haryana, gang raped obnoxiously and brutally killed pouring acid in her eyes, brutally piercing screw driver in her ears, broken bottle in private parts and what not finally mercilessly killing her. Her dead body was found after three days in the precincts of Rodhai village in Haryana. Since then the father of the victim who was a daily wage earner lost his job as the poor n hapless parents have been running from pillar to posts demanding death to culprits. After repeated demonstrations, candle marches and incessant legal case with media support in the year 2014 the dreaded culprits were awarded death sentence by the Dwarka Sessions Court followed by the sentence being upheld by the Delhi High court. However, after the convicts approached the supreme Court for relief after ten years of legal pursuance the parents of the victim were shocked to learn that in the month of November in the year 2022 all the three culprits were set squat free by the three judge bench of supreme Court blaming the Delhi Police for patchy investigations leaving several loopholes in the case. The entire Uttarakhand community and other right thinking people of the country strongly objected to the judgement and held several protest marches and in Delhi n elsewhere including candle March protests and meetings urging the honourable apex Court to give a rethinking to its decision. However, the honourable chief justice of supreme Court finally accepted three review petitions filed against the earlier judgement assuring the aggrieved parents and people for reconsideration of the case on merits etc. This gave tremendous relief to the parents of the victims and all right thinking people who’d been protesting peacefully to seek justice for late Kiran Negi. During more than twelve years of relentless struggle not only had the victims poor parents list their daughter, who was the only earning member of the family but her father too lost his job on account of his being busy in fighting the case in courts for justice. The Uttarakhand chief minister and Delhi CM etc had not done anything to give employment to the victim’s father or her brother despite repeated representations and requests and the Uttarakhand CM meeting them and assuring for job to one of the kins. In view of this, the SARV SAMAJ AND VARIOUS, SOCIAL ORGANISATIONS OF DELHI HAS URGED THE DELHI CHIEF MINISTER ARVIND KEJRIVAL TO INTERVENE IN THIS MATTER, HEAR TO THEIR WRITTEN APPEALS AND GIVE A GOVERNMENT JOB TO THE VICTIMS BROTHER AT THE EARLIER SO AS TO ENABLE THE DEPRESSED AND DISTRESSED FAMILY ARRANGE FOR THEIR SURVIVAL. Meanwhile, this is also pertinent to mention her that one of the accused Vinod along with another criminal had on 26 th January, 2023 murdered an auto driver at Dwarka and have been arrested by Delhi Police having been jailed.
