We have every right to write books on our “Gauravshaki Itihaas”, as we are a free nation now ! HM urges writers to write books on the proud history of the past
The union home minister Amit Shah has today catagorically said that the historians of our country have only and specifically written about the Moughal history and have never shed light on other rulers who’d ruled India for several years earlier. He said that the Pandya rule existed for about 800 years and Ahom rulers ruled in Assam for 650 protracted years who relentlessly fought n struggled against Moughal rulers like Bakhtiyar Khilji and Aurangzeb and finally defeated them to keep Assam free. Speaking in detail about the various Hindu empires union home minister added that similarly Pallav and Chalukya Empire ruled for 600 years each including Maurya and Gupt empires for 500 n 400 years respectively but the partisan historians never wrote any book on them.
Home minister Amit Shah was today addressing the audience on the ocassion of a book release function, the book titled ” Maharana : Sahastra Varshon ka Dharam Yudh” in the national capital. Lauding the incessant struggle and relentless wars against various regimes of 1000 years to safeguard, promote and preserve their culture, traditions, languages and religion by the Indians, home minister Amit Shah said that our historians in the past have never wrote anything on them except about Moughal empire. He urged the present historians and authors to come forward and instead of pointing their fingers of suspicion on the the past history, should write books on the proud history of the nation by carrying out extensive research and indepth analysis of the genuine historical facts, obviously other than the Moghul history. He added that we have every right to rewrite books on our ” Gauravshali Itihaas”, ( proud history) than pointing fingers of suspicion on what has already been written ( wrongly). We are now free and not dependent on anyone. We can proudly write our own proud history. We have to think and do something big as we can write history ourselves emphasised union home minister Amit Shah in his speech. Lauding the book on Maharana Pratap, a great warrior, Amit Shah said this book is a starter. We should move forward and write new books of our brave history, drawing inspiration from it. Hailing great warrior Peshwa for extending his influence of triumph against the then Moughal kings by his immense bravery from Attuck to Cuttuck keeping the saffron flag high, home minister Amit Shah said that unfortunately great warrior Peshwa couldn’t get due justice. We should now write history on our past Empires which had not been written by our partisan historians said Shah. Praising Veer Savarkar he emphasised had he not been there the true facts of 1857 revolution would have remained concealed. Praising the 1857 revolutionaries for their outstanding bravery and patriotism against the then imperialist British, home minister said that they were the real heroes who won even after losing the battle, sacrificing themselves fighting the neo colonial British umpire.
