Chief minister Rawat visits Sakloni and pays tributes to martyr Mandip Singh Negi

The coffin of martyred Sahid Mandeep Singh Negi of 11 Garhwal Rifles was brought by Indian Army jawans draped in tricolor to his native village, where this braveheart was born, amid tears and cries all around with his anguished parents, especially mother crying in shock uncontrollably. The Indian Army Jawans gave cannon salutes to this patriotic young braveheart who laid down his life at such a young age of 23 years at Gulmarg, Kashmir in the service of the nation.

The Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat visited his house and paid his heartfelt tributes n deepest cindolences to the bereaved family. He personally met martyred Mandeep Negi’s parents and consoled them assuring that tge Uttarakhand government is always with them during these critical times and assured of all support. Everyone in the village were in tears raising slogans of Mandeep Singh Negi Amar rahe. The cannon salutes were given at his village in Sakloni, Pokhra Block by India Army Jawans asa tribute to the great departed soul in the service of the nation. The chief minister reached his village to give adieu to the departed soul.

The chief minister announced that the village road of Sakloni will be metalled and it will be named as Mandeep Singh Negi Marg as a mark of respect to Negi. He was just 23 years old. In a tweet chief minister Rawat Tirath Singh Rawat said that Mandeep Singh Negi’s supreme sacrifice will continue to inspire the young generation to serve their country bravely and corageously. hundreds of people from nearby villages have also come to Sakloni to bade final adieu to Mandip Singh Negi in tears raising slogans hailing him for sacrificing his life at such a young age to protect our nation.
