New Delhi: When SKP Projects Pvt. Ltd. was founded on 26 June 2000, it began as a modest infrastructure venture. Twenty-six years later, the company is marking its foundation day with a milestone that its Chairman and Managing Director Suresh Chandra Pande describes as a journey of excellence built on hard work, honesty and commitment.

A native of Uttarakhand, Pande has steered SKP Projects from its early days into one of India’s recognized names in construction, engineering and industrial project execution. From an office in Vadodara to operations across New Delhi and other cities, the company has delivered several major projects nationwide and carved out a distinct identity in a competitive sector.

Today, more than 2,000 people work with SKP Projects, and the company says about 80 per cent of its workforce has ties to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Over the years it has been credited with creating employment and opportunities for young people from the state, a role the organization calls central to its growth.

Colleagues and the company’s anniversary note describe Pande as approachable and grounded, with a leadership style that balances business goals with social engagement. Beyond industry work, he has stayed involved in education, employment initiatives and community support linked to Uttarakhand’s development.

On the occasion of completing 26 years, Pande thanked employees, partners, clients and well-wishers, calling the achievement a result of collective effort rather than one individual’s work. He said the company will continue to prioritize quality, innovation, teamwork and customer satisfaction as it looks ahead.

The 26-year mark is being framed not only as a corporate milestone but also as an example of leadership from Uttarakhand making a mark in India’s industrial landscape.
