While elections in 88 constituencies in 13 states underway Rahul appeals to voters through X

While elections of second phase in 88 constituencies in over 13 states and union territories is underway , the former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has issued a video recorded appeal to the electorates on his social media handle X writing : This election is the election to save democracy and constitution. On the one hand there is BJP and RSS which trying to destroy democracy and the constitution and on the other hand Congress and INDI alliance is endeavouring to save the constitution and democracy. We walked on foot covering 400 kilometres from Kashmir to Kanyakumari including Manipur to Maharashtra.We designed a revolutionary manifesto after interacting with you . This is people’s manifesto made by Congress. We have accorded you give guaranteed. Prime minister Modiji has made 22 to 25 people billionaires. We are making crores of people, youths and women millionaires.We are giving legal MSP guarantee to farmers and remitting their loans. We are giving the minimum wage of Rs 400 to the labourers. So this Congress manifesto is for changing the nation. It’s a revolutionary manifesto. Support Congress party. Protect constitution and press the button of Hand symbol. It may be recalled that the second phase of voting is underway and by the time of writing this news on an average 10%. Voting had taken place in 88 constituencies of the 13 states and union territories by 10 in the morning. Over 1200 candidates are in the fray in 13 states n union territories with all the 20 seats in Kerala, 14 out of the total 28 seats in Karnataka, 13 seats in Rajasthan, 8 seats each in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, 5 seats each in Assam and Bihar, 3 seats each in Chhattisgarh and West Bengal and ine seat each in Manipur , Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir going to polls today since early morning. The first phase of elections for 102 seats across 21 states and union territories were held on 19 April. Meanwhile, it is for the very first time that the election commission of India has issued notices to both prime minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi under Section 77 of the Representation of People’s Act holding them responsible/ accountable for defying the code of conduct while delivering their respective speeches during the campaign. The election commission has directed the poll bosses of the two major parties BJP and Congress JP Nadda and Mallikarjun Kharge to submit their responses by 11.00 on Friday. The union home minister has categorically said that after 4 th June the country will see Narendra Modi becoming PM for the third time as the entire countrymen are with him.
