Uttarakhand Manav Uthan Sewa Samitee has been doing a yeomen service for the welfare n well being of the poor n down trodden!

Health, Hygiene and Help is one of the important aspects of any individuals and Uttarakhand Manav Seva Samiti Delhi ( UKMSSD), has been fully devoted its efforts in this area and touching the lives of persons by doing the yeoman service in this area since 2000 (22years) .

Right from holding over 75 medical in which around 1200 cataract operations done in remote areas of Uttarakhand, distributing lakhs of N 95 and other masks, thousands of blankets and school shoes, a few thousand bags of ration in Delhi and uttarakhand during Covid-19.

Distribution of free medicines, stationery items, jackets, sweaters, specs are few other items that have been continuosly being provided to poor students and local persons.

In continuation of these activities, with the sponsorship of 30 sets of Sanitary Napkins Vending Machine,(SNVM), Sanitary Napkins Disposal Machine(SNDM), Hand Sanitising Machine (HSM) and 1000 Sanitary Pads(SP) for 10 Schools and Colleges of remote areas of Uttarakhand by Indian Railways Finance Corporation (IRFC), a Govt of India Enterprise, the UKMSSD has embarked upon new and really required activity of Health, Hygiene and Help

Out of 30 sets of SNVM, SNDM, HSM, SP provided by the IRFC under its CSR initiative, 20 sets have been delivered in Kotdwar on 27.10.22 and 10 sets delivered in Manglore (Haridwar) on 18.10.22 to representatives of School/College/ Degree colleges of remote or Rural areas of Hardwar, Pauri and Almora districts

Installation will be carried out by UKMSSD teams at respective schools after Diwali

The Chief Education Officer, Dr Anand Bhardwaj and Information Commissioner of Uttarakhand Govt, Shri Vipin Ghildiyal IRS were Chief Guests at at Kotdwar and Haridwar(Manglore functions) Shri Virender Dobriyal, Principal,GIC Shouli, Jahrikhal and Dr D S Negi, Principal,Govt Degree college, presided over the distribution functions .Both while appreciating the much need initiative and bridge provided by UKMSSD between the Govt and the disadvantaged and marginal section of society, Under leadership of V Sharma, stressed the need for continuity and sustainabilty of such novel efforts by continuous maintenance of machines and uninterrupted supply of quality pads at such cheaper cost .
Shri V N Sharma President and Shri K L Nautiyal,Secretary General,UKMSSD explained the working of machines supplied by a PSU, namely ITI Ltd, Manakpur Gonda, UP along with Shri Dwivedi, Er of ITI Ltd who answered querries of participants
