UKD delegation meets chief secretary Uttarakhand and urges high level probe in arbitrary appointments through Pant Nagar university

A delegation of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, a regional party today met the chief secretary of Uttarakhand S. S. Sindhu and presented a memorandum demanding a thorough probe in the alleged irregularities committed during the appointments in the appointments of Energy Commission, Uttarakhand. Speaking to the chief secretary after presenting the memorandum in Dehradun, the central spokesman of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal Shiv Prasad Semwal said that in 2016 and 2021 the Pant Nagar University had facilitated appointments in Japan Vidhyut Nigam and Power Corporation respectively. In both these appointments several members of single families had been appointed arbitrarily and other family members of these very families had been to prison in VDPO appointment scam. While demanding an impartial thorough probe in the illegal appointments in Jal Vidhyut Nigam ( Hydro Power Corporation) the president of the Women Wing of UKD Sulochna Ishtwal said that they will be constrained to start a movement against the govt of the state. The joint secretary of UKD Rajendra Gusain too has accused of arbitrary appointments in hydro power corporation saying that Members of one area have been given these arbitrary appointments.

While lauding the state government’s decision for commencing a probe into Police Sub Inspector appointments by Pant Nagar University , the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal said that a retired officer of the same university have been caught by STF who was working here in the 2004-5 exams, as, well unambiguously confirming that there must be irregularity in the exams of other appointments as well because in the SI exams of 2015 conducted by this university there was a huge scam. Therefore the UKD demands impartial high level probe in the appointments done through this university since the last ten years. Not only this but this university had conducted exams for AE appointments in URJA NIGAM but there was huge corruption in these appointments. The UKD gave other reasons for the STF probe as below : (1) In the UJVNL appointments happened in 2016 several appointments were made whose relatives were already working here. (2) Those appointed were from the Pant Nagar areas and of a, particular caste etc. The UKD also has serious reservations on the appointments of the family members and relatives in the UJVNL and UPCL services. The memorandum of UKD adds that a person who was caught by the STF in UKSSSC cheating n appointment scams, his, wife had been appointed after qualifying in the AE examinations, which seems to be utterly unacceptable. The UKD says that an appointee of Muhabba Dabra and some other applicants who had, secured merely 30 numbers in earlier exams have shocking topped in these exams out of 176 applicants. There are several other objections raised by the UKD demanding a high level probe in all the said appointments failing which they have threatened to expedite the movement to demand justice for the genuine applicants.
