No trace of a young girl trekker mysteriously missing from Dayara Bugyal trek in Uttarakashi since the last five days
There is no trace of the mysteriously missing girl Babita Pandey from the popular Dayara meadows Trek location even after five days despite the local police , SDRF, the local head of the villages etc doing intensive search in more than six kilometres area including taking the services of the drone cameras etc.
After all efforts being failed till yet, the administration has taken the services of the deep drive special team .
The entire operation is being conducted under the able stewardship of the district magistrate Prashant Arya who said that in this extensive search operation apart from the police and local administration, the NDRF, SDRF, ITBP,Forest division, Police department , revenue department and the QR team of the disaster management are involved vigorously.
Despite the difficult and challenging terrain of the Dayara Bugyal trek area, rescue teams are continuously conducting intensive searches at possible locations.
The administration says that no effort is being spared in the search for the woman and that all available resources and technical equipment are being utilized.
On the instructions of District Magistrate Prashant Arya, a six-member special deep drive team has been formed. This team has reached Raithal village and will begin the special operation on Thursday.
According to the administration, this team will conduct a thorough search of potential lakes, reservoirs, and other water sources in the Dayara Bugyal area. It is hoped that this special operation may provide a new direction to the investigation.
Babita Pandey’s last CCTV video has surfaced
Meanwhile, a crucial CCTV footage in the case has also surfaced. This video is reportedly from Raithal village, where Babita Pandey is seen with her friends.

This video is believed to be Babita Pandey’s last appearance. CCTV footage shows her before she went missing on May 29th.
Police are examining CCTV footage and questioning people in the surrounding area. Investigating agencies are also investigating the woman’s trekking route, contacts, and possible movements.
Officials say the search and rescue operation will continue until a concrete clue is found.
All of Uttarkashi is focused on the rescue operation.
The mysterious disappearance of the woman from Dayara Bugyal has alarmed the entire Uttarkashi district. The family and local residents are hoping for her safe recovery.
