BJP wins with a thumping majority. To form government in Delhi after 27 protracted years

The saffron party has finally made it. It has returned on the power saddle of the national capital after twenty seven protracted year.
Though the charisma of Narendra Modi has been tremendously leading to the BJP victory at the centre for the third consecutive term and in more than twenty states in the country since 2013 , in Delhi Modi charisma worked after 11 years finally enabling Delhi to stage a comeback since 1998.
Today’s massive victory is infact the victory of prime minister Narendra Modi’s prestige than of the BJP as he has left no stone unturned, campaigning for the party candidate aggressively n extensively with union Home minister and chief architect Amit Shah being in the forefront in his capacity of the general.
According to the latest results to be declared finally by the election commission – the BJP has almost won on 47/48 seats and AAP on 23. This way the BJP is all set to form the government and the exercise for the new chief minister is being done by the party high command.
This evening prime minister Narendra Modi is arriving at the Rouse Avenue party headquarter with all the central ministers and Party chief JP Nadda to congratulate the party workers in Delhi on this magnificent victory showing doors to Arvind Kejriwal.
Meanwhile, there are reports of National Convenor of AAP and former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and former deputy chief minister of Delhi vociferous Arvind Kejriwal and minister Manish Sisodia including the former deputy speaker Rakhi Bidlan and former law minister Delhi Mr. Bharti has lost election at the hands of the BJP candidates.
This is a huge setback to the AAP.
The party which was solely centralised and controlled by Arvind Kejriwal after his own defeat looks to be in real danger of disintegration in the near future say Political analysts, though Arvind Kejriwal has very confidently said that they will play the role of a constructive opposition.
Meanwhile the prime minister Narendra Modi has while expressing his immense jubilation on the landslide triumph of the BJP after 27 long years forming its government in the national capital wrote on X : I am so proud of each and every @BJP4India Karyakarta, who has worked very hard, leading to this outstanding result. We will work even more vigorously and serve the wonderful people of Delhi. He further tweeted : Jana Shakti is paramount! Development wins, good governance triumphs. I bow to my dear sisters and brothers of Delhi for this resounding and historic mandate to@BJP4India. We are humbled and honoured to receive these blessings. It is our guarantee that we will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi, improving the overall quality of life for the people and ensuring that Delhi has a prime role to play in building a Viksit Bharat said PM Modi.
The union Home minister Amit Shah who has been immensely instrumental in bringing BJP to power in Delhi after 27 long year criticised Arvind Kejriwal for building a Sheesh Mahal writing : Modi in the heart of Delhi…
The people of Delhi have worked to make Delhi Aapda-free by destroying the ‘Sheeshmahal’ of lies, deceit and corruption. Delhi has taught such a lesson to those who break promises that it will set an example for those who make false promises to the public across the country. This is the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi.
Coming down heavily in AAP and Arvind Kejriwal without naming him he further added : Modi in the heart of Delhi…
The people of Delhi have worked to make Delhi Aapda-free by destroying the ‘Sheeshmahal’ of lies, deceit and corruption. Delhi has taught such a lesson to those who break promises that it will set an example for those who make false promises to the public across the country. This is the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi wrote union Home minister in his social media handle X.
He also said that Delhiites have shown that the public cannot be mislead by repeated false promises.
The public has responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers and liquor shops open in every street with their votes. I heartily congratulate all the workers of BJP who worked day and night for this grand victory in Delhi, BJP National President Mr.@JPNadda ji and State President Mr.@Virend_Sachdeva ji. Be it the respect for women, the self-respect of unauthorized colony residents or the immense possibilities of self-employment, Delhi will now become an ideal capital under the leadership of Modiji wrote Amit Shah on X after BJP’s historic victory. After the shameful defeat of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal the former MP and MLA from BJP, son of former Delhi Sahib Singh Verma, Pravesh Verma has come victorious making a history by defeating a three term MLA and former CM Arvind Kejriwal who had made history by defeating the three term CM of Delhi Sheila Dikshit in 2013. By his historic victory Pravesh Verma has emerged as a strong contender for the post if Delhi chief minister ship. The two former aspirants for Delhi CM ship former MP and candidate of BJP from Karol Bagh reserve Dushyant Gautam and Ramesh Biduri from Kalkaji have lost at the hands of Kishore Ravi and Atishi, both the candidates of AAP.
The former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat who was active in Delhi elections trying to mobilise the Uttarakhand and general voters in favour of Congress visiting several constituencies has also reacted after the worst defeat of his party scoring Hatrick in terms of not getting single seat in the national capital elections. Raag write on his social media post in Hindi : #Delhi election results are almost out. Another stronghold of the opposition has collapsed. But it has given many lessons to all our alliance partners. There are many challenges for the Congress, one of them is the challenge of Delhi. We expected 10-12 percent votes. Now we will have to use all our strength and connect with each and every worker in Delhi and build the organization afresh. We will have to work for the challenges of 2026 and 27 from now and with full intensity. We will have to create an organization that will connect the existing workers and prepare about 20-25% more new workers. The work is difficult, but it can be made possible with the choice of the right person. Another defeat of the opposition should be a matter of concern for democracy lovers. Weakening of the opposition is not in the interest of democracy, the Constitution and the common people wrote Harish Rawat on Social media FB post.
