District magistrate Nainital cracks on the criminals, revoked their weapons licence, imposed NDPS and oust several criminals from Nainital district

The district magistrate of Nainital has become actremeky struct in the law breakers, especially the criminals who have literally spoiled the prestige if the national and globally famed Tourist township of Nainital where during the peak summers through unaccounted numbers of tourists from all over India including abroad. Coming down heavily on the law violators the district administration has taken strict action against criminal activities and law and order in Nainital Municipality and has taken major action against several accused.

District Magistrate Nainital Lalit Mohan Ryaldara has taken action of cancelling the license of the shop and banishment from the district in various cases.

According to administrative information, Wasim Ahmed, a resident of Y-21 Indira Nagar, Thana Bhulpura East, has been arrested under sections 120-B, 147, 148, 149 of the IPC, 3/4 of the Public Property Misappropriation Act and UAPA.
Not only this but the licenses of Maqsood Hussain, resident of Thana Banbhulpur, Munwar Ali, resident of Line No. 19, New Barsi, Banbhulpur and Qasim Khan, resident of Y No. 3, Azad Nagar, Banbhulpur have also been cancelled by the District Magistrate Court. In another case, Jibhuvan Chand, resident behind the Port Office, Thana Kathgodam, is accused of firing from his 0.32 bore licensed pistol while drunk, while sitting in vehicle number YK04-3233, at a public place.

Taking the matter seriously, the District Magistrate Nainital cancelled the weapon’s license of Mr. Bhuvan Chand with immediate effect. Meanwhile, the NDPS act has been registered against Harpeet Vij alias Bunda, resident of Digi Colony, Gaujajali, Police Station Banbhalpara, against a d ousted from Nainital district for several months.

The district magistrate has made it crystal clear that those violating the law and order, carrying out illegal and criminal activities will not be spared at any cost and shall be dealt with severely as per the variousections of BNS.
