The former Governor of Maharashtra and former Uttarakhand chief minister Bhagat Singh Koshiyari while thanking the Speaker Om Birla for sparing his invaluable time said that he never goes in any book release events but has spared his invaluable time for me inaugurating a book on him.
Lauding the role of writing a book on him he said Madan Mohan Sati has authored this book on me but I think there wasn’t any need for this as I started my career as an RSS worker and according to RSS philosophy we don’t seek publicity for what we do. Therefore while speaking today from this platform on my own book I am in real dilemma not knowing what to utter. I am speechless said the octogenarian former CM and former Governor of Maharashtra.
A batchelor having dedicated his entire life as an RSS pracharak first and as a politician later on Koshiyari’s last assignment was as the Governor of Maharashtra where he was in tremendous controversy for allegedly favouring the minority section of Shiv Sena having them defected to BJP and finally crowning Eknath Shinde as the chief minister of Maharashtra throwing Khushabahu Thakrey government out of power.
The author of the book Madan Mohan Sati media coordinator to CM in Delhi said that he received the affection of a father from Babuji, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari whom he saw from his childhood days till becoming a journalist always helping the hill people with money and other supports which inspired him the most. He said when my father died he was immensely supportive. When he wrote this book on Koshiyariji’s life journey , he went to him informing about his project. Koshiyari just said : Don’t you have any other work ? What’s the need to write this book ? But said Sati I had already made up my mind and finally came up with this project which was my dream come true. The veteran journalist Govind Singh praised Bhagat Singh Koshiyari as a true leader of the masses whose only objective was to serve the poor and the needy. Being a journalist I never had any problem meeting and interacting with him on any issue and always found him helpful and cooperative said Govind Singh adding that he feels fortunate to be in his midst on this book release function. The former correspondent of Hindustan Hindi Madan Jaira said that since I was a local reporter in Almora Pithoragarh I have been covering him and never saw him as a leader but as a true server of the poor and needy. He was always modest whether as MLC, CM Uttarakhand or as Governor and we never hand any problem, whatsoever interacting with him in any issue. His simple habits, simple living and caring for the common masses make him the real and true leader of the common masses said Madan Jaira.
Narendra Ladwal , an eminent entrepreneur of Uttarakhand appreciated Koshiyari as a fatherly figure saying that his inspirations make him move forward towards progress and prosperity with leaps and bounds despite he crossing 60 years of age.
