Professional hunter Joy Hukeel killed a maneater who made a Badiyon village woman its prey near Khandiyonsaina, Kot Block

The professional shooter living in Pauri Joy Ukil to whose credit are 50 maneater kills has today again killed another predator in the jungles of Baadiyon village in Kot block under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal district after he received orders from the higher authorities to get rid of this dreaded maneater who had today made a village woman its prey killing her instantaneously. There was a panic all around and the angered villagers were accusing the authorities concerned for being completely inefficient and negligent in countering this increasing menace. There have been two kills by maneaters in the Bamtheee and Kamandh villages in Idwalsiun patti of Kot block two – three months ago and earlier to that a man killed near Ghurdori engineering college. Even a woman was grievously injured by a maneater in the village of Subodh Uniyal , forest minister of Uttarakhand in Unee a few days ago creating quite a controversy with the minister asking the journalists if a maneater would attack a woman of a village of the forest minister knowingly. In Bada village too, on the directives of the DM Ms Badhoria, Joy Hukeel had killed a maneater in several months ago. The villagers of Badiyon and the surrounding villages of Pauri Garhwal heaved a huge sigh of relief after this timely action and the maneater killed.
