Rajasthan based journalist who had declared former CM Harish Rawat dead in his new report suspended for professional misconduct !

A Rajasthan based journalist Ravi Kataria working for a media organisation who has in his news report allegedly declared the former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat dead after his car met with an accident the other day hitting a divider while heading for Kashipur from Haldwani has been terminated from service. As per a two line information send to journalist Ravi Kataria by his boss Nandini Aggrawal , he has been suspended with immediate effect on account if his misconduct till further orders.

The vociferous spokes person of Uttarakhand Congress Garima, Dasauni has in her message on social media platform X, earlier Twitter enclosing some media clippings and the brief termination letter wrote in Hindi : Victory, Whether the Characters Chowki In charge, Dehradun has taken any action against my complaint against Ravi Kataria, journalist or not, but we’ve done our work. Journalist Ravi Kataria who had spread biased rumours declaring former revered chief minister Harish Rawat dead in his report to gather cheap publicity has been terminated from his media organisation for this immoral act and yellow journalism with immediate effect tweeted Congress leader.

It may be recalled that Uttarakhand Congress leader Garima Dasauni had yesterday taken strong exception to the false rumours spread by journalist Ravi Kataria declaring Harish Rawat dead after an accident that occurred in Kashipur when his car hit a divider. Rawat who had then complained of chest pain was admitted in a Kashipur hospital by the local police but he was relieved at 3 AM and thereafter admitted to Joly Grant Himalayan hospital where he was convalescing till yesterday. In one of the reports the Rajasthan based journalist Ravi Kataria has declared Rawat as dead with accurately confirming the facts of the accident creating quite a furore in political and media circles.
