President, PM, Congress leaders pay tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra on his birth anniversary

Several important dignitaries including president, prime minister, leader of opposition and others paid their respectful tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occassion of Parakram Diwas today. The president of India Draupadi Murmu paid her floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary today (January 23, 2025), observed as Parakram Diwas. The Orkney minister Narendra Modi too while paying his richest tributes write on X : On the occasion of Parakram Diwas today, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He remarked that Netaji’s contribution to India’s freedom movement was unparalleled and he epitomised courage and grit.

In separate posts on X, he said:

“Today, on Parakram Diwas, I pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. His contribution to India’s freedom movement is unparalleled. He epitomised courage and grit. His vision continues to motivate us as we work towards building the India he envisioned.”

The Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge while paying his tributes to Netaji on Parakram Diwas wrote in X : Tributes to the great freedom fighter, former Congress President and our source of inspiration, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, who instilled a wave of patriotism and revolution among the countrymen through powerful slogans like ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Give me blood, I will give you freedom’.

His love and dedication towards the motherland and his strong opposition against communalism always inspires all of us to serve the nation said Mallikarjun Kharge.

The Wayanad MP and general secretary of Congress party Priyanka Gandhi Vadra paid her respectful tributes to Netaji writing on X : Respectful salutations on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great leader of the Indian freedom movement, founder of the Azad Hind Fauj and former President of the Indian National Congress.

Mahatma Gandhi called Netaji the “patriot of patriots”. Netaji presented the highest example of revolution, patriotism and sacrifice. His contribution and his thoughts will continue to inspire generations.
