CM Dhami visits a Dehradun hospital to wish early recovery of nonagenarian former CM Major General ( R) B.C. Khanduri

Born in the year 1934, nonagenarian former union minister of Transport and NHAI, and former chief minister of Uttarakhand Major General ( retired) Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri has again been admitted in a Dehradun super speciality hospital.
His daughter the speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly is with her including his son Manish Khanduri.
The former Uttarakhand CM is admitted due to the age related complications and is under the supervision of the senior doctors attending on him.
The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went to see him in the Dehradun hospital and acquainted himself about his health condition.
He wrote on X after meeting him wishing his early recovery. The chief minister while wishing him early recovery said that upon reaching the hospital in Dehradun, I enquired about the well being of the former chief minister of the state and senior BJP leader, the honourable Bhuvan Chandra Khanduriji. I pray to God for his speedy recovery wrote CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on X.
Former CM Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri was admitted in hospital recently and was relieved after few days . But he again complained about the health complications and was readmitted.
Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri was a popular minister of ( Surface Transport) NHAI during the regime of the then PM Atal Bihari Vajoayee and is credited for constructing the national highways all over the country including for completing the Golden Quadilateral project connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata and the North, South, East, West corridor.
As the union minister of Surface Transport and Roads, NHAI he managed the then whopping 70 thousand crores project ensuring that high density corridors were strengthened including Uttarakhand roads while he was the chief minister.
A highly learned and decorated (retired) Major General AVSM Khanduri was twice the chief minister of Uttarakhand from 2007 to 2009 and then from 2011 to 2012. He was MP from Garhwal Parliamentary constituency and then minister as Surface transport, Government of India soreading wide network of roads at the pan India level. He is also known for his integrity and transparency and as a successful CM of Uttarakhand We wish him early and sound recovery.
