The main accused in the Hathras stampede case in which more than 121 devotees have been brutally killed and several other severely injured still admitted in hospitals convalescing carrying an award of Rs one lakh on his head has surrendered himself at Najafgarh , Delhi today in front of the Special Investigating Team of Uttar Pradesh Police who was in Delhi for him s cardiac treatment as claimed by his advocate , Supreme Court Dr.A.P. Singh. Dr. A.P Singh has also been the counsel of Bapu Asha Ram. According to a video released by Supreme Court advocate Dr. A.P Singh as promised earlier he has ensured the surrender of the alleged main accused in the Hathras case Dev Prasad Madhukar, who has nothing to hide and worry as he is not responsible for this mishappening. Speaking in the video Dr. A.P.Singh said that the STF n police is now free to interrogate or investigate him in depth but they should ensure that he is a heart patient and his health should be taken care of. Dr. Singh said Madhukar is by profession an engineer and heart patient and was not hiding but was in Delhi for the treatment of his heart ailment being a cardiac patient. He also thanked the police n mediamen for their cooperation saying that as a chief of the Sewadaars, Madhukar was looking after the Samagam and is not responsible in anyway. He will tell the police whatever he knows and the STF is now free to interrogate him deeply but should not harm him said senior advocate of Supreme Court. It may be recalled that in the FIR lodged in Hathras case there is no mention of Narayan Saakar Hari alias Baba Bhole and in one of his press conferences while responding to a reporter’s question as to why the name of Baba not mentioned in the FIR, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that the FIR has been registered against those who sought the written permission for this religious event. The SIT will deeply investigate the matter and if found guilty stringent action will be taken against whosoever, found responsible for this brutal tragedy. Meanwhile, there is another news which says that the self styled Godman Suraj Pal aka Bhole Baba aka Narayan Saakar Hari has said that he has full faith in the administration n government but whoever has created the chaos in Hathras brutally killing 121 or more devotees would not be spared at any cost. Expressing his deepest condolences over this tragedy he said that he has asked his committee members through his lawyer Dr.A.P. Singh to stand with the bereaved families and the injured in the Hathras stampede and help them throughout their lives. There have been lot of questioning in media and political circles as to why the main person, the so called religious/ spiritual self styled Godman has not been held responsible n his name left out from the FIR despite his alleged suspicious background n such a big tragedy happening in his presence to pick his touched soil by his devotees.
