How long will the politicians manipulate the electorates ? Will the rebranding of already notified Women Reservation Bill work ?

Politics is really very unreliable. It’s purely a game of manipulations and manoeuvering , full of lies, opportunism and unreliability. In politics such opportunists and unreliable leaders think that the people are fools and don’t have the mind to judge their manipulative actions or unreliable, biased histrionics.

They think they are invincible and this applies to majority of the political leaders, especially those in power as the influence of power dance over their heads and they think that their every uttering, action, lies and manipulative tactics will be accepted by the people as whatever they do is absolutely correct, transparent, true and above board. WOW.

There are several examples of such tactics of these chameleon leaders but since the examples are countless we can only highlight the current trending instances going viral in social media.

Let’s first take the instance of the Uttarakhand and its Dhakad chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who has broken all records by becoming the CM of Uttarakhand twice even after losing the election and by virtue of his being the OSD of the former Uttarakhand CM Bhagat Singh Koshiyari for three months in private capacity.

He is so enthusiastic, energetic and over ambitious that he lost no time to please the national leadership of his party to introduce for the very first time the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand earning and receiving the compliments from prime minister Narendra Modi, who said that this will be the model for the UGC to be implemented nationally, which is nothing but entirely a vote catching political gimmick.

As if this was not enough he again was the first chief minister in entire country among the BJP ruled states to declare the one day special session of state assembly to condemn, denigrate and demean the opposition parties especially Congress accusing them for defeating the Mahila Vandan bill in Parliament , thus insulting the women community of the country despite the true hard fact that the Women Reservation Bill has already been passed in both the houses of parliament with the full initiative and backing of Congress and duly signed by the honourable president of India Draupadi Murmu, finally being notified and becoming a law.

It was not the Women Reservation Bill but the Delimitation bill entwined with Mahila Vandan Adhiniyam ( a 141 st Constitutional amendment ,) that was defeated not the Women Reservation Bill.

Not only this but the chief minister of Uttarakhand in a rarely seen instance marched with BJP women activists holding the national flag during the day time with BJP women activists in a padyatra rally titled as Mahila Akrosh Rally and in the evening hours with paper mashals in hands with the state chief Mahendra Bhatt, MP in Dehradun to send across the message that the Congress and opposition is against the passing of the women reservation bill which actually has already been passed in 2023 from both houses of parliament and officially notified after acknowledging the signature of the President of India Mrs Draupadi Murmu.

The BJP lawmakers even passed a Contempt proposal in the assembly against the opposition Congress for defeating the Women’s bill which actually is not true and completely baseless a charge.

The moot point is why is the BJP rebranding and attaching the Women Reservation Bill with Delimitation and constitutional amendment bill instead of giving 33% reservation in Parliament and state assemblies right now after the bill has already been passed.

What’s the need to increase the seats of parliament and assemblies thus putting in the public exchequer more weight of financial burden when the nation is already suppressed by the fiscal deficit of more than 16.19 lakh crores etc.

When the Ankita Bhandari case was going on with the entire state’s electorates especially women across ideological lines were on roads and streets protesting for CBI probe and demanding bringing the VIP to justice , not a single BJP leader men or woman came in support of Ankita Bhandari and her traumatised family nor a voice was raised either in parliament or assembly, including the Women Commission of Uttarakhand but today they are the biggest proponents of Mahila Vandan and Mahila Suraksha knowing very well that it’s already been passed and notified in 2023.

Even after three months having elapsed there is no sign of any hint of the CBI probe making any credible progress to find the VIP behind this case who was the main and primary reason leading to circumstances of innocent Ankita Bhandari’s diabolical murder frum whom was demanded the special services against lucrative money payment which she outrightly rejected and fought back to save her dignity and modesty .

The recent judgement of the Uttarakhand High Court justice Rakesh Thapliyal directing the immediate suspension of the Police SHO of Tehri Garhwal Dharmendra Rautela who had compelled the social activist and You tuber Keshav Thapliyal drink urine forcibly, polish boots and thrashed in police station and thereafter when he went to seek justice to IG/ DG office and even telephoning them instead of giving him justice was jailed for several days.

Finally one of the social leader and influencer arranged an advocate for him who fought his case in Uttarakhand High Court and acknowledged due justice. Salutes to honourable Justice Rakesh Thapliyal.

This unambiguously reveals how apathetic has been our ruling party leaders towards Keshav Thapliyal when he was being tortured mentally and physically by a police SHO and news appearing in news channels and print media including social media having no impact on the administration, higher ups and even the Uttarakhand CM with Uttarakhand High Court justice finally coming to he rescue of a sufferer. Kudos for justice sir and Shame for the apathetic responsible officers for not delivering justice to the victim.

In another instance of humanity and concern a leader of the opposition party the Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav sets and example of decency and humanity when he visits Medanta hospital in Lucknow UP to meet an immolated woman MLA of BJP Anupama Jaiswal who was accidentally burnt while burning the effigy of the SP leader Mr. akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi.

She was unfortunately burnt and admitted in Medanta hospital in Lucknow now under treatment.

This is called decency and a humanitarian approach to even meet the ardent political rival and express concern heartily with good wishes for her recovery.

The woman leader MlA was burning the effigies of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav in support of the Nari Vandan Adhiniyam and against these leaders for not letting it pass in parliament terming them as anti women.

This gesture of an opposition leader is genuinely laudable say the political analysts as Yadav has exhibited the highest standard of political decency to go to the hospital and wished the MLA early recovery.
