The entire nation is celebrating the victory of Neeraj Chopra who has singularly popularised Javeline throw in the country winning two back to back gold and silver medals in Tokyo and Paris Olympics at just an age of twenty six. The Pakistan athlete Arshad Nadeem won the Gold medal by throwing Javeline at 92.97 metres while Neeraj Chopra won the Silver by throwing the Javeline at 92.45 metres qualifying the semifinals and entering final by throwing the Javeline at 89. 34 metres. However, he committed five faults during his attempts of Javeline throw in the final competition at Paris Olympics. Till now India has won five medals which consist of four Bronze medals and one Silver. India has won five Bronze in shooting and Hockey while one silver medal in Javeline throw. There are reports of one more Bronze medal’s hope in men’s wrestling by an outstanding wrestler Aman who’d qualified for semifinal. The stadium where this competition was held was completely jam-packed with thousands of curious audience present and cheering at performance of the athletes.
