Search operation intensified in Alaknanda river after a suicide note found from the room if a minor girl in friendship with a Muslim boy



The Srinagar, Garhwal police alongwith the SDRF have expedited the intensive search operation in the Alaknanda river after a suicide note was found from the room if the missing girl from Srinagar.
A new twist has emerged in the case of a 15-year-old girl who went missing from the Srinagar area. Police have recovered a suicide note during a search of the girl’s room. Following this, the police have intensified the investigation.
City Inspector Kuldeep Singh, in-charge of the police station, stated that the police searched the girl’s room in the presence of family members, where a suicide note was recovered. The contents of the note and other related aspects are being investigated.
Meanwhile, Senior Sub-Inspector Pankaj Tiwari stated that the Srinagar police are continuously searching for the girl. CCTV footage shows the girl walking down Nursery Road in the morning, but she was not seen on any cameras after that. She has also not been seen returning.
According to the police, given the seriousness of the matter, a joint team of the SDRF, Water Police, and Srinagar Police is conducting a massive search operation in the Alaknanda River.
A search is underway in the river area from Alkeshwar Ghat to Kirtinagar.
It is noteworthy that the girl left her home without informing anyone early Tuesday morning, after which her family informed the police. Police are investigating all possible angles. At present, no trace of the girl has been found.
It is being reported that the girl was in friendshi with a Muslim minor, a relationship her family strongly objected to.
The police have appealed to the general public that if anyone gets any information regarding the teenager, then immediately inform the nearest police station or control room.
