Dr. Bahuguna, chief of USP lauds the implementation of UCC in Uttarakhand
The bureaucrat turned politician formerly Director General ICFRE & Chancellor FRI University Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Government of India and currently the president of a regional political party of Uttarakhand namely Uttarakhand Samaanta Party Dr. V. K. Bahuguna said that USP was formed with the primary objected to establish equanimity in the society among all religions n faiths. The party was registered with the election Commission of India in the year 2022. Lauding the recent passing of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand assembly likely to become a law, Dr. V. K Bahuguna saud that their party will cooperate with all political parties believing in the food of Uttarakhand and establishing Smith and harmony in the society. The USP chief who had been the principal secretary in ministry of Agriculture, government of India Dr. Bahuguna while complimenting prime minister Narendra Modi said that the establishment of a Uniform Civil Code is a constitutional obligation for the country as enshrined in Article 44 in Part IV of the Constitution which states that “The State shall endeavor to ensure a uniform civil code for the citizens throughout India.” Hence equality. The USP welcomes the introduction of the Bill for Uniform Civil Code and fully support its making it a law in the interest of all sections of our society. Dr. Bahuguna urged the prime minister Narendra Modi to implement it all over India as per the provision of our Constitution. He also appealed to all intellectuals, political parties and socio-cultural groups to keep aside politics in the interest of the people and support the visionary work of the State Government as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
