Delhi CM thanks Supreme Court Bench led by CJI for Chandigarh Mayoral decision saying it’s the very story of democracy

Truth may be troubled but not defeated. The Constitution and democracy ultimately won the Chandigarh Mayor elections. Many thanks to the Honorable Supreme Court. These were the words of AAP’s national convenor and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on hearing the expeditious judgement of the chief justice of India D.Y.Chandrachud. Feeling extremely obliged to the Supreme Court, the Delhi CM thanked the honourable Supreme Court and its chief justice for delivering such a transparent and expeditious decision and restoring the Mayoral position to the AAP’s mayoral candidate who was defeated by the returning officer Anil Masih and declaring a BJP candidate as the Mayor after he ( Anil Masih) arbitrarily deliberately invalidated eight votes of AAP in favour of BJP and declaring its candidate as the Mayor of Chandigarh. The Supreme Court bench led by the chief justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud has declared the AAP’s mayoral candidate as the new mayor of Chandigarh by personally going through the ballot papers and also directing the Registrar judicial to immediately execute perjury proceedings against the Chandigarh Mayoral election returning officer for misguiding and telling lie to the court and tempering with the ballot papers to invalidate them with an ulterior motive to oblige the candidate of another party. Addressing a PC while lauding the decision of Supreme Court, terming it as a victory of democracy Kejrival thanked the Supreme Court and CJI, explaining as to how the returning officer and the powers that be have tempered with the eight votes of INDI alliance and declared the BJP candidate as the Mayor. He said this is the first and a great victory of INDIA as we had snatched the mayoral position from them ( BJP) saying that in view of our democracy at stake these days the expeditious judgement of Supreme Court in favour of democracy and truth is a huge victory for which we thank the honourable Supreme court from the bottom of our heart. If they can steal 25% of the 36 votes , I tremble convulsively to even think as to how many votes they will steal from 90 crores ( obviously in general elections) said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal reacting to the Supreme Court judgement while extremely thanking the Supreme Court bench led by CJI D.Y.Chandrachud .
