Uttarakhand High Court’s Justice Rakesh Thapliyal directs to suspend the police officer involved in the harrasment n torture of Keshav Thalwal

The Uttarakhand High Court learned Justice Rakesh Thapliyal hearing the case of Keshav Thalwal, a you tuber and social activist who had become the victim of a police officer Dharmendra Rautela in Tehri Garhwal allegedly forced to drink urine, send to police torture by beating and abusing him repeatedly leading him go into depression for several months including jailed demanding justice and stringent action against the erring police officer,today directed to suspend the erring police officer after the medical examination report of Keshav Thalwal unambiguously revealed that he is an intelligent person and in good mental health including extremely against corruption.
On receiving the medical report during the arguments with the counsel of Dharmendra Rautela and others , Justice Rakesh Thapliyal waved the medical examination report and said that you have said that his mental state of mind is not good therefore he is telling lies and accusing the police with biased intention. He should be medically examined. I did so. Justice Thapliyal said now that report is in my hands, waving it, and said now what should be done to an officer who even broke his leg by repeated beating him despite the already injured leg. I want spare them. He immediakybordered that the officer should be suspended forthwith. It may be recalled that Keshav Thalwal after harrasment and going to jail arbitrarily had not bowed diwbed but continued his first ght against corruption and the mrntan and physical torture experienced by him at the hands of Dharmendra Rautela in a Police Station in Tehri. He even went to the office of the DG seeking justice but was not given any justice by the system. Finally R.R. Raturi a social activist and influencer staying abroad took notice of his views and helped him hirung a ln advocate who stood counsel for Keshav Thalwal. After this judgement by the honourable Justice of Uttarakhand High Court ROSHAN RATURI posted in social media in Hindi :
Justice Rakesh Thapliyal said, “Suspend him! There’s no need for such policemen!
We won’t tolerate wrongdoing!
The mental test revealed Keshav Thalwal to be intelligent and capable.
Truth prevailed, and corruption was dealt a severe blow.
Now the path to justice has become even stronger.”
