Though in Delhi incidents of chain snatchings, forcible kabza in private lands, especially in unauthorisrd colonies by making fake documents, eveteasing and pickpocketings are on tge increase , another gang in Palam colony is under police network with four of the criminals caught by police after a ” GALAGHONTU” gangs four members were caught by alert Delhi police personnel under Palam Police station jurisdiction. The modus operation of the gang was that a group of four or five persons used to follow their target on the way , after proper idea that he is rich or prosierous and no so healthy. After identifying their target they would follow him being at few feets dustance not giving him any chance for suspicion. While in the way a man behind their target would place a piece of cloth on his neck frm behind and try to overpower him. The rest of accomplices will also join and either make him unconscious or make him fearful , asking for all the precious belongings, money, mobile phones, laptop etc and run away leaving the target unconscious not giving him any chance to shout. These clandestine operations are usually carried out at secluded n lonely locations and durung odd hours where there is no rush of people. This incident after the complaint was traced from one of the CCTV cameras. The police had perhaps identified some of the culprits and caught them. Now in jail. Beware of such criminals keeping in mind this incident as they may operate in any locality of Delhi other than Palam.
