ARVINDER SINGH LOVELY JOINS BJP FOR THE SECOND TIME AFTER 2015, Best instance of Aaya Ram Gaya Ram politics

Joins with three former MLAs and a DPYC chief

The outgoing president of Delhi State Congress Committee and former minister in Delhi government Arvinder Singh Lovely has joined BJP in protest against the Congress high command forming an alliance with the Aam Admi Party which according to him was born after its chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival had accused the then Congress party and its governments at centre and in the national capital of various corruption charges on fake, fabricated and fictitious grounds terming the accusations as just frivolous. This is the second time defection of Arvinder Singh Lovely from Congress, the party that made him minister , to BJP, first being in 2015 when his father Buta Singh was denied ticket, but he soon rejoined Congress party repenting over his mistake to join the BJP, this welcomed into Congress fold by the then Congress chief Rahul Gandhi with open arms, thinking that he wouldn’t repeat the blunder again.

The Congress high command made him the Delhi State Congress chief thereafter reposing faith in him and his leadership of Delhi Congress.

But after remaining Delhi Congress chief for some time, say for a year or so, he developed animosity with the Delhi Congress In-charge Deepak Babaria who had favoured alliance with Aam Admi Party thus not paying any heed to the Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely.

Apart from the charge of forming an alliance with AAP in Delhi, Arvinder Singh Lovely had also blamed the Delhi In-charge Deepak Babaria for not cooperating him and not allowing him to appoint senior office bearers of DPCC including block presidents of 150 blocks of Delhi.

Today Arvinder Singh Lovely joined the BJP welcomed by the former union minister and BJP leader Hardeep Singh Puri along with four other Delhi leaders.

They are Rajkumar Chouhan, Neeraj Basoya, Naseeb Singh and Amit Malik. While all the three are former MLAs , Rajkumar Chouhan was the minister in Shiela Dikshit’s government till 2014 and Amit Malik was the Delhi Youth Congress chief.

Speaking to reporters Arvinder Singh Lovely said that he joined BJP on the advise of his workers who said that he should join a strong party and work hard instead of sitting idle at home.

It may be recalled that the re joining by Lovely to BJP in a short duration fructified after a day before when more than one thousand workers and office bearers of DSGPC had joined the saffron party in the presence of its national president J.P.Nadda.

The BJP is not refusing any Congressmen joining it because it wants to demoralise the central leadership of Congress and its rank and file and give an impression that the party headed by Gandhi family is gradually losing its momentum.
