Anti Corruption sleuths reach Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to probe on the complaint of alleged 15 crores offer given to AAP MLAs
Today morning at seven , the counting of Delhi elections will commence and the fate of political parties in the fray will be finally revealed.
However, Friday was extremely hectic politically as a team of anti corruption branch of NCT of Delhi reached the residence of the former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in good numbers.
They were however not allowed to enter as there were lot of advocates out side Kejriwal’s house who were reportedly belonging to the legal cell of AAP asking for the relevant documents and warrant etc.
The reason for the Anti Corruption Team of GNCTD Delhi reaching Kejriwal’s house was due to the written complaint filed by the Rajya Sabha MP of AAP Sanjay Singh at the office of ACB this morning alleging that 16 MLAs of AAP who had contested this election have been offered Rs.15 crores each in return of joining the BJP .
This serious charge was also made by the national convenor of AAP and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal through a tweet on X . He wrote in Hindi : Some agencies are showing that the abusive party is getting more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls that if they leave AAP and join their party, they will make them ministers and will give Rs. 15 crores to each of them. If his party is getting more than 55 seats then what is the need for him to call our candidates?
Obviously these fake surveys have been conducted with the sole purpose of creating this atmosphere to break down some candidates. But you abusive people, not even one of our men will break down said Arvind Kejriwal in his post in X.
The AAP leader Mukesh Ahlawat spoke in front of television camera that a person named Devendra Shokeen has phoned him and offered Rs.15 crores and a minister’s post if he joins BJP. He tweeted : I may die, I may be cut down but I will never abandon@ArvindKejriwal ji. I got a call from this number. He said that his government is being formed, he will make you a minister and will also give you 15 crores. Leave “AAP” and come. I want to tell them that the respect that Kejriwal Ji and the AAP party have given me, I will never leave my party till my death wrote Ahlawat on X.
The AAP MP Sanjay Singh in his written complaint to the Anti Corruption Unit of GNCTD has also furnished the phone number from which the calls were made to MLAs offering them the said amount in order to join BJP.
Though there are only 12 hours left for the final counting to commence in Delhi but on Friday this news of the alleged phone calls to offer Rs 15 crores each to 15 MLAs of AAP has created quite sensation in the political and media circles of the national capital.
The chief of Delhi Bhartiya Janata Party Mr. Sachdeva came down heavily on Arvind Kejriwal pronouncing him as a biggest liar and warning him to furnish the evidence of his allegations failing which he should be prepared to face the serious consequences. The Delhi MP and singer Manoj Tiwari has said that Kejrival has lost his mental balance as he and his party AAP is losing badly in the counting and has become completely paranoid. From tomorrow he will only be seen writing tweets after his defeat said Manoj Tiwari MP.
