A sixty year old village woman of Bamtee in Idwalsiun killed by a maneater

A disty year old woman has become prey to a roaring leopard , the maneater who brutally killed her when she was busy in her daily chores. This is the news of Bamthee village in Patti Idwalsiun under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal. The human kills through maneater attacks in Uttarakhand has become extremely common and almost a daily affair with the wild life and forest department proving to be futile. Almost in all the districts of Garhwal and Kumaon dhvusions the maneater leopards are openly roaming around prowling for human flesh and their habitats have been intervened by human encruschnents and and ge so called unfriendly developments. The locals everywhere are extremely furious and angered and several times even the schools are shut down diectge the prevailing terror of these roaming maneaters in human habitats.the villagers are asking in anger :
For how long will we hill people continue to fall prey to leopards?
Location: Bamthi village, Pauri Garhwal.
Today, another mountain mother lost her life. The leopard attack on a 60-year-old woman in Bamthi village is not just an accident, but a failure of the system.
Our direct questions to the administration and forest department:
Is the department merely sitting around counting death figures?
Why hasn’t a cage been set up yet to capture the man-eating leopard?
Is the administration waiting for a major protest? Our demands:
The man-eating leopard should be captured immediately and the village should be free of fear.
The affected families should receive adequate compensation immediately.
Proper patrols and lighting should be arranged to ensure the village’s safety. Today, Bamthi village is in a state of terror; tomorrow, it will be another village. If we remain silent today, this danger will reach every home. The administration must awaken from its deep slumber and ensure the safety of our mothers and sisters!
