Nobody knows what is stored in one’s destiny immediately after, especially when the ocassion of merrymaking turns into a tragic incident killing fourteen persons on the spot and grievously injuring few others. This very shocking news is coming in from Champawat, Uttarakhand where fourteen innocent people of a marriage ceremony died on the spot and two grievously injured. This diabolical tragedy occured on the Sukhadhaand Daadaminar road connected to Tanakpur Champawat highway when the mini bus carrying the mall of a sudden after not being controlled fell in a deep gorge several hundred metres below killing all the 14 passengers on the spot and injuring two grievously including the driver of the bus. There are photographs circulating in social media of dead bodies in the narrow valley of the gorge sending panic and shock waves all around in entire Uttarakhand. The local police and administration including local people are busy in evacuating the dead bodies and ferrying the grievously injured to the hospital.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has while expressing his deepest condolences in this tragic mis happening issued urgent instruction to the DM n other senior police n administration officials to give necessary medical aid to the grievously injured. The former CMs Harish Rawat, Trivendra Singh Rawat and former health minister Surendra Negi has also expressed their deepest grief and condolences to the bereaved families and urged the administration to provide immediate relief to the survivors. The exact cause of the accident is being also ascertained. This a a major accident n tragedy in the recent months that claimed fourteen precious lives sending shock waves in the state. Om Shanti
