Air Force Sergeant Ashish Juyal, 36, a resident of Kothi village in Dewal, passed away suddenly in Delhi. His last rites were performed with full military honours on Thursday on the banks of the Pindar River. Air Force personnel gave the final salute. A large number of villagers joined the funeral procession and raised slogans of ‘Ashish Juyal Amar Rahe’.He originally hailed from Chamoli, Dewal block.
The only brother of three sisters, Ashish is survived by his wife and young daughter.
