At Bhawali , Nainital a Mahindra plunged into a gorge 100 metres downwards , five deaths

On Thursday afternoon, a Mahindra car full of pilgrims lost control and fell into a 100-foot-deep gorge near Dhaila village on the Sanatorium Ratighat bypass road in Nainital, Bhawali.

Five people, including two men, two women, and a child, died in the accident.

Upon receiving information about the accident, local people rushed to the scene and immediately informed the police and administration. Relief and rescue operations were then initiated.
The vehicle involved in the accident reportedly has the registration number UP 32 QU 1874, and a total of five devotees were in the car.

The administration appeals to people to drive carefully and avoid overspeeding.

May God grant peace to the departed souls and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this loss.

The deceased include five people, including husband, wife, son, daughter, and a driver.

Names of the deceased are :

1- Bhupendra Singh Chufal, resident of Khatima, age 48
2- Seema Kaida Chufal, wife of Bhupendra Singh Chufal, age 45
3- Vasu Chufal, son of Bhupendra Singh Chufal, age 19
4- Ravi, daughter of Bhupendra Singh Chufal, age 12
5- Driver Anuj Kumar Mishra, son of Daya Sagar Mishra, resident of Afsar Nagar LPG Godown, Alam Nagar, Lucknow, age 34
