Uttarakhand CM faces slogans in protest while he visited the historic shrine Kedarnath

As the elections in Uttarakhand are nearing, politicians are going to temples, mosques, churches and Gurudwaras to seek blessings from Almighty and also to appease the electorates showing them their dedication towards religions and spiritualism as well.

But when instead of slogans of admiration, one confronts slogans against him and his government from the people especially when he is the chief minister of the state then things become seriously worrisome indicative of the not so good political future in the near future.

This has happened today in the historic Kedar Baba Shrine Kedarnath.

The youthful Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who has been quite active since the day he assumed the high office as CM of the state today acknowledged the slogans against his government with the CM busy interacting with pilgrims smilingly with folded hands along with his officers, Pujaries and political colleagues having no other option.

According to a video, taking the rounds in UK news channels n social media as well, the chief minister is seen smilingly posing for photographs along with his colleagues and officials including Pujaries after he comes out of the temple to inspect the developmental works in Kedarnath surroundings. He walked around the temple precincts with officers, security personnel and pujaries following him.

As soon as he comes towards people with folded hands interacting with pilgrims the Chief Minister confronted slogans against his government with some politicians accompanying him raising their hands to appease the angered opponents, but of no avail.

Similarly in Kashipur, Kumaon Mandal in a meeting of farmers wearing green turbans with majority of them Sikhs, their leaders have issued warning to the CM as well as the BJP leadership and politicians not to attend their meeting or enter Kashipur for political rallies, expressing their anger over the brutal killing of 8 farmers and a journalist at Lakhimpur Kheeri.

The farmer leaders have categorically criticized the ruling party leaders of the state for their anti farmers attitude obviously in the context of three farm bills and the brutal killings of the 8 farmers in Lakhimpur Kheeri, expressing their resentment and condemnation for the outrageous brutal lynching of farmers.

They issued open warning in the presence of police officers that 8 corpses are still lying at Lakhimpur, UP and these parties want to hold their rallies. They warned the BJP leadership not to enter Kashipur failing which they should be ready to face the consequences said the infuriated speakers.

It may be recalled that just yesterday the Uttarakhand government has issued an official notification giving full powers to the DMs of all districts of Uttarakhand to enforce NSA ( National Security Act) in case they find any situation going out of hand prejudicial to national or state security.

Under the NSA any person could be arrested if found to be a security threat to the state or the country.
