Uttarakhand Congress criticizes BJP rule for three brutal murders in Dehradun and Rishikesh in the last five days
In Uttarakhand, women safety seems to be at stake as three brutal murders took place within the last five days in Dehradun and Rishikesh sending shock waves all around.
The Congress party which is the main opposition political outfit in the state, came down heavily on the BJP government and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami accusing them for spreading the hate environment in the state due to the politics of polarization and division making the women safety endangered.
It may be recalled that during the last five days in Uttarakhand’s capital city Dehradun and Rishikesh three women have been brutally killed including two young girls, one a 12 th class student.
Today a 23 year old girl working in a private office was brutally killed by a culprit slitting her throat in the broad daylight at 11 00 on the spot.
Earlier a highly mutilated dead body of a 12 th class girl was found in Dehradun bushes in a mutilated condition and at Rishikesh AIIMS a lady working there was killed by bullets in broad daylight.
These five diabolical murders of women including young girls has created panic in Dehradun and people are worried about the deteriorating law and order situation.
The spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress vociferous Garima Mahra Dasaauni has in her verbal statement accused the ruling political dispensation and the chief minister for the deterioration in the law and order situation where women are being brutally murdered and police allegedly becoming mere spectators.
She vociferously said that the political head of the state seems to be busy is his statements on Jihads and polarising the society despite the fact that according to the National Crime report Bureau Uttarakhand has stood first among the nine Himalayan states as a hate speech spreading state.
In a video released in social media the state Congress leader Dasani has vociferously said that the CM is so vigorously busy in spreading division that he has forgotten to think of the harmony in the state. She catagorically said that today it is the cumulative result of your hate speech agenda that women are feeling unsecured and dying of brutal attacks.
Addressing the CM she said that You have failed on both the fronts. Nor have you proved to be an asset on law and order front nor have you been successful in providing security and safety to women who have become vulnerable in the state not even issuing a single statement on the three murders of girls n woman in the state during he last five days.
She demanded immediate arrest of the hardened criminals, urging to give them stringent punishment and fixing accountabilities on those who have proved to be negligent and complacent in their duties.
