Dr. Harak Singh Rawat’s video pronouncing the ruling party leaders running govt as ” Nalayak ” ( unworthy) goes viral with Rawat denying his statement
Always in controversy, having changed sides number of times from Congress to BSP and then Congress and finally to BJP, the present cabinet minister in Uttarakhand government Dr. Harak Singh Rawat’s video is going viral in social media these days in which, while addressing a meeting in Mussoorie he had not only blamed his own government and the previous Congress government of betraying the people of the state and relentless strugglers and martyrs of Uttarakhand movement but has gone to the extent of saying that their souls must be crying in anguish that the state has been handed over to inefficient and foolish rulers running it.
This statement of Dr. Harak Singh Rawat has finally invited the attention of BJP senior leaders and state president taking a serious view of it, though having no option but to take it lightly in view of the elections being round the corner.
The national general secretary and party observer of Uttarakhand BJP Dushyant Gautam has said that this act of Dr. Rawat has been taken as an act of indiscipline and would not be tolerated. He would be scolded as a child is scolded in a family for committing a mistake. The state BJP president Madan Kaushik too said that he had spoken to Dr. Harak Singh Rawat and asked him as to why has he given this objectionable statement. Dr. Rawat denied saying that it has not been assessed in the proper context said Madan Kaushik coming to the rescue of the erring minister.
While addressing a meeting in Mussoorie to pay tributes to a communist leader, cabinet minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat catagorically said in anger that the martyrs who’d laid down their lives fighting relentlessly to secure separate Uttarakhand state must be crying in anguish that the Uttarakhand state is being ruled by “Nakayaks and Bevkoofs”.
This video went viral in social media creating quite a furore in BJP political circles in Uttarakhand and Delhi with media questioning the BJP leadership about their reactions to their minister’s highly objectionable statement against his own party.
However, Dr. Rawat has contradicted the accusations against him saying that his statement has been presented in different context as he was actually contradicting the statement of a communist leader.
However, the video unambiguously shows Rawat using unparliamentary words like Nalayak and Bevakoof for leaders running the government of Uttarakhand clearly signifying that his own party leaders have been accused by him for mis – governance.
It may be recalled that Dr. Harak Singh Rawat when in the previous chief minister TS Rawat’s cabinet as Agriculture minister, he was immensely against him for being removed from the chairmanship of Construction workers commission.
Not only this but just a few days back Dr. Rawat and former CM Trivendra Singh had a tiff over the re- emergence of the controversial “DHENCHA BEEJ SCANDAL”, claiming that it was because his efforts that this scandal was closed otherwise the former CM would not have become CM as his political career would have been ruined with exasperated former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat not naming him but allegedly comparing him with Donkey saying that ” gadha hamesha “Dhaincha Dhaincha” Chillata hai.
While in the Congress ministry led by Harish Rawat, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat was in bad terms with the former finally defecting to BJP. In nutshell, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat is more of a problem creater in which ever government he becomes minister keeping the chief minister on toes n tenterhooks.
The use of unparliamentary language by politicians and so called leaders is completely unacceptable. There seems to be the new norm and fashion to talk nonsense and derogatory language against the opponent from past few years. Inspite of PM Modi strictly requesting all BJP workers to refrain from abusive language there seem to be a few exceptions for the same.
Politicians across parties should be well aware that the general public watches their words, actions and deeds very closely and this will reflect during elections
